  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • Required quantity cup Chopped nuts
  • Required quantity tbsp Jaggery, Sugar or salt for taste (Use any one. Salt for better taste)
  • 2 cup Water
Instructions
    Making Ragi Java
    • Mix Ragi Flour: In a small bowl, mix the ragi flour with a few tablespoons of water to create a smooth, lump-free paste. Ensure there are no lumps in the mixture.

    • Boil Water: In a saucepan, bring one cup of water to a boil.

    • Add Ragi Paste: When the water is boiling, reduce the heat to low. Gradually add the ragi paste to the hot water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Continue stirring until the mixture thickens, resembling a porridge-like consistency.

    • Sweeten It: Add jaggery or sugar or salt to taste, adjusting the sweetness or salt according to your liking. Stir well until the sweetener dissolves.

    • Simmer and Thicken: Let the ragi java simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. This ensures it's heated thoroughly and reaches your desired consistency.

    • Add Butter Milk: Add buttermilk to the ragi java for taste.

    • Serve: Pour the hot sweet ragi java into a cup or glass. You can garnish it with chopped nuts like almonds or cashews if you prefer.

Note

ou can use buttermilk as much as you want for taste. Without buttermilk it doesn't taste good. Use salt and buttermilk for better taste instead of sweet
